My bf says I am a silly girl.
True enough, I proved him right today.
As we walked hand-in-hand back to the carpark after dinner today, I thought I saw his car and proceeded to break away from him.
When I reached the car, I looked up expectantly, thinking that my bf would unlock the car door. But to my horror, my bf wasn't there.
I looked around frantically, thinking that my bf had vanished into thin air. Then, I caught sight of him walking straight on. Yaaa ,without me!!
Puzzled, I took a second look at the car. It was then that realization hit me. What stood before me was an MPV, not a saloon. I was at the wrong car! Hahaha.. so paiseh. Luckily, nobody saw what happened, or I would have died from embarrassment.
Eh but my bf was at fault too, for he didn't even look back to check if I was following him after I broke away. Hmph. Bad bf!! :P

My friend, Karen, has just set up a blog shop to sell her accessories, and as a show of support for her new venture, I decided to purchase two pretty earrings!
This is a one-sided earring. I intend to match it with a pearl stud on the other ear. :D
This pair is so me. :P
The designs are very intricate, and the best part is, they are all very affordable too! Definitely value-for-money.

I've been looking for a pre-owned authentic Chanel Cambon in white since last year, because I just can't bear to part with my cash at the boutique.One year later, I chanced upon a pre-owned one in excellent condition with warranty/authenticity card, box, dustbag, paper bag..what have you.
But, I still can't bear to part with my money.
HAHA....shit. can someone just buy it so I don't see it in auctions?!!!
I'll probably regret it..but I think I prefer to be cash rich, not asset rich. :P

I realised that every time I make a declaration on how I've been tightening my purse strings, the strings tend to come loose.

I just remembered some words/phrases that my ex-boss mispronounced or mixed up. It's hilarious, and I just felt the need to document this before my memory fades.
And...*drumroll*...here they are!!
1) Specticulation (erm he meant speculation. Meanie me was laughing at how specTiculation sounds like spectacles when my spectacles broke..sigh bad karma)

3) Thumb of the rule (rule of the thumb)
4) Preceptive (sounds like it's short for contraceptive..but he really meant to say perceptive)
I'm so proud of myself because I always managed to keep a straight face whenever he said these words (ON A DAILY BASIS MIND YOU).

I enjoy my carefree and idyllic life now.
Watching Youtube and Crunchyroll, catching up on drama serials and movies which I never had time to watch previously.
Sleeping at the break of dawn and waking up late in the afternoon.
Meeting up with friends whom I haven't met in the longest time.
No deadlines, no reports, no boss. I'm free from worries.
I know I mentioned that I wanted to teach piano or do some freelance work.
But nah, I doubt I can sustain my desired lifestyle if I were to do that.
I don't spend on branded goods, but I can't do without skincare products, make-up, hair and facial salons. :P
Regardless, I have since learnt to control my expenditure on clothes and shoes, and am extremely proud of my achievements haha.
I feel useless when I'm not contributing back to society (AND THE ECONOMY!!) , and as a firm believer of pragmatism, I can't compromise on my principles, as much as I wish I could just idle my life away and proclaim myself Singapore Idle.
I will work. Yes, this complex monster who contradicts herself all the time will step back into the workforce.
I hope I'll like my new job.

You know you love someone even after 7 years when:
1) You miss him everyday, and wish you could spend every waking moment with him.
2) You still look forward to seeing him everyday, even if it is just for a brief moment.
3) You let him occupy most of your (super single sized!! sob) bed although you're almost about to fall off the edge (Sorry la..not easy to downsize from Queen to Super Single leh).
4) You cover the blanket for him when he is in deep slumber, for fear that he will feel cold. When he kicks the blanket away, you lower the air-con temperature, for fear that he feels hot.
5) You give him a peck on his cheek when he's sound asleep. AND still feel remarkably amused when he subconsciously thinks the peck is an insect that had landed on his cheek and, he, yes he, with eyes closed and a frown on his face, proceeds to brush it away vehemently while he continues to venture into the inner realms of Slumberland.
6) You satisfy his cheek (only facial please) fetish. Even though you are terrified of pimples, you allow him to pinch your cheeks,and sometimes, you go the extra mile by placing your cheeks on his shoulder voluntarily, much to his delight.
7) You support him in his relentless pursuit of a sport (which has since become an obsession or and addiction) because you know it makes him happy.
8) You buy him his M&Ms and other chocolate varieties, especially the dark ones because you like to see him gobble everything up ravenously with a child-like innocence.
9) You laugh at his mushiness, but in reality, you are touched by his sincerity and outward expression of love for you (or maybe it's just his love for your chubby cheeks..but you couldn't care less cos your cheeks are still a part of you).
10) In short, you feel happy only when he feels happy.

I miss Beijing. The last time I went there was in 2005 for a 3-month course. Although it has been almost 2 years, it sure doesn't feel it was that long ago.
The service apartment that I shared with Ash..haha..don't ask me why she's on the floor. We're very messy people, not to mention greedy too. Check out all the food on the living room table.
The classroom..I hated the classes cos my Chinese sucks. How to compete with people who majored in Chinese in Uni????!!!! I was the youngest in class too..:P
Can't remember where this was..hahaha..some park I think. :P I love the autumn leaves.
Ming Tombs...
From what I remember, it was kinda boring..so we decided to camwhore instead.
With Ash & Karen..some of the peeps whom I was closest to.

Karen's nail colour was so blindingly bright she had to put on shades to protect her eyes.
Ash felt like sleeping after the massage.
Chubby cheeks was extremely satisfied with their service.
Sleeping beauties at graduation ceremony. We took a series of silly photos haha..
Anyway, that was 2 years ago..I wanna go back there some day!
