I'm back! Been back for a week but work has been pretty hectic. I wish I had more time on my hands to blog. My Japan posts will probably only start this weekend at best. :P

There is so much to blog about because this trip was one of the funnest ones I've ever had. In the mean time, here are some teaser pics to whet your appetite.

We attended a friend's housewarming over the weekend. The weekends are getting busier for us these days with so many gatherings yet so little time. I know this sounds sadistic, but I actually enjoy getting all tired out as a result of my busy schedule.

Coloured my hair ash brown recently. I decided to clip it to the side and accessorize with a ribbon clip.

Frankly, I'm not really a fan of temples and palaces, but walking under the hot sun (which I hate) did me some good. Walking brought me closer to mother nature, and made me appreciate the azure sky, lush greenery and glorious blooms even more.

Just in case you were wondering, these pictures were not edited at all. Isn't the sky just lovely?

I was engulfed in the beauty that surrounded me. It's unfortunate that the only time I am able to stop and smell the flowers is when I am on holiday overseas.

Sometimes I wonder if more can be done to achieve inner peace and balance. I should probably start by re-prioritizing my goals. :)

My sis-in-law celebrated her 21st birthday last weekend at Oosh@Dempsey. She had a cozy party with about 20 friends and there was even a talk show segment where friends could pose questions about anything and everything.

Her birthday celebration brought back sweet memories of my 21st birthday celebration as well. JW planned a surprise birthday party for me at Jack's Place and posted a touching heartfelt birthday greeting on The Heeren's large billboard screen. He also got me my first little blue box, complete with a solitaire diamond platinum necklace. Reminiscing about my 21st birthday celebration still makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside, but I think he was crazy to have spent so much.

Anyway, this was what I wore to the party. I think this is probably the last 21st birthday party that I'll ever get to attend for age is fast catching up on me. :P

Love my eye make-up that day but the camera didn't manage to capture the colours well.

I'm getting a little lazy when it comes to updating about my Korea trip, so I'm gonna make this a short one filled with pictures of Jeju Island.

This trip made me realize that I actually do enjoy climbing mountains and hills. I guess the daily walks to and from the MRT station (yes I take the MRT!!) also helped to build up my stamina.

You know, I used to be breathless after climbing a flight of stairs, but now I can climb a hill and not feel utterly exhausted!

Although it was the start of autumn, the sun was still scorching hot, hence you'll see me wearing the same hat that I bought from a tourist shop at the foot of Mount Sorak. It goes with practically everything ;).

I was basking, not just in the hot sun, but also in the beauty of nature. There's something about nature that soothes your nerves and dispels whatever negative energy in your body.

Doesn't this remind you of Hawaii? Jeju Island is supposedly known as the Hawaii of Korea.

I went horseriding as well, albeit in a different location. The horse looks very tame and genteel here, but I had an exceptionally thrilling ride. In fact, I was hanging onto the reins for my dear life because the horse decided to race around the track a few times at lightning speed!!! The faint-hearted me thought that I was going to die any moment. :P
