It's the F1 season again, which also means that I have to work over the weekend.

On the brighter side, I get to catch the race in the comfort of an air-conditioned suite that comes complete with a sumptuous buffet spread. This year, we've got complimentary Ferrari caps too!

I'll be heading to Austria in 2 weeks. Many of my friends were puzzled by my decision to make a trip there because it is not particularly known as a tourist hotspot or shopping heaven, for that matter. But well, I do have other hobbies besides shopping you know. ;)

Music, theatre and art are just some of my other interests, and Austria is one country that I have always wanted to visit because of its musical and cultural heritage.

Moreover, JW and I have always been fans of Europe and the European lifestyle. Now, that explains why we purchased this painting for our Master Bedroom recently:

Here's a casual outfit that I put together for a lunch date with the other half. It is whimsical and unexpected, with a touch of girlish fun.

I've been on a shoe craze lately. Being attracted to shoes of various styles means that I have numerous options as well as temptations.

Here's a close-up of the shoes:

It's probably the most frivolous pair in my cabinet, but I am amazed by how exudes both femininity and wackiness at the same time. I love how it It adds that little bit of spunk to my wardrobe. ;)

Chatterbox has become one of our favourite haunts for Hainanese chicken rice. While the meat may not be the most succulent, we both love the flavourful rice and ginger sauce. The soup is also one of the tastiest that I've come across.

We also like the huge servings. The servings are way larger than most chicken rice stalls, but that should probably come as no surprise given the exorbitant price tag.

It also wins hands down in terms of presentation. Check out the glistening chicken skin juxtaposed against thick slabs of dry chicken breast meat. Totally sinful but satisfying!

I've always been amused by how chicken rice stalls seemingly attempt to make the dish look healthier by strategically adding cucumber slices below the chicken meat. Well, in this case, it looks like when you pay more, you'll get juicy cherry tomatoes as well!

I received this in the mail this week and I haven't been able to take my hands off it! It's a genuine vintage Chanel button that was converted into a ring. It exudes a certain old world charm, doesn't it? Totally glamourous yet edgy at the same time.
