The mushrooming of buildings in Dubai. Regardless of where you turn, you will definitely be surrounded by construction sites and new architecture in Dubai.
Burj Dubai..touted to be the tallest building in the world. It's still not completed yet. As to how high the building will be, nobody knows because it's supposed to be kept a secret lest some other country beats them to it. :P

We were lost in a desert at one point, so I decided to snap photos. I heart the azure blue sky and beautiful sunset.
At the Mall of the Emirates in Dubai - can you believe they have an in-house ski resort complete with ski lifts?! It costs a hefty S$70 to enter the place though. Remember, people here are very rich and can afford indulgent pleasures.
